Ice Driving Trip
Have the trip of a lifetime and learn a huge amount in the process! I have regularly organised ice driving trips to Scandinavia since 2005. There’s nothing more fun than driving on a frozen lake with purpose made studded tyres; from start to finish you learn a huge amount!
The car is continually sliding and when you acclimatise to this you will never be scared of a car moving around again. The benefits are immeasurable, you learn many things including; holding & inducing a slide, effective vision (mostly looking through the side window!), weight transfer, identifying surface grip and all in a relaxed and fun environment. By the end of the trip you will have well and truly mastered left foot braking; there really is no alternative technique!
Not only this but you will also enjoy the most exquisite winter experience, passing through the many fjords & mountains, with the option of one of the world’s best train journeys, amazing accommodation and the opportunity to bring your partner & family along for the fun too!
Whether tobogganing, skiing, reindeer or husky sledging or just going very sideways on a frozen lake, this is an amazing winter experience for everyone.
